Hello

Am 24 wks pregnant with twins, am hoping to mix feed this time round (b/f 9 mths with dd) would like to try the Tommee tippee closer to nature bottles as they seem to look most like my boobs!!!

2 questions - will they fir in my avent steriliser that i already have?? and do i really need to buy the 150ml small bottles?? can i just get the big ones and be done with it?? okay thought of a 3rd question - any suggestions on how many to get???

I think they will fit in the steriliser but you may not get 6 in at a time (probably 5 as they are quite a bit wider). I just bought the big bottles as you dont use the small ones for long. I had 9 (3 x 3packs) but I fully formula fed so you may need a bit less than that (or with having twins, you may need more!!)

i also wouldnt bother with small bottles, dnt know about quantity tho lol,as i formula fed too,(just the one dc lol)we had 7 bottles and i made them up in advance, but if you are mix feeding you might not need so many?
i would maybe buy 6 and see how you get on,you can always get someone to nip to e shopd and get another pack if need be.
and i would think they will fit in the stereliser, we used lots of different types with our stereliser.

They will fit in if you remove the plastic circle with the collars from the bottom - I just chuck them all in willy-nilly and run the cycle.

Oh thankyou, thats set my mind at ease a bit. Have ordered a pack of 6 and a pack of 4 from the tommee tippee website as i had a 25% discount code, so we'll see how we get on

I am mix-feeding and the TT bottles seem great. Baby doesn't glug audibly like she does with the Aventi ones. Still burps like someone on a rugby club stag night in Budapest, though.

Somebody gave me a great tip: always keep one bottle sterilised and in a different cupboard, so you don't come into the kitchen with a howling baby and realise you've gone through all the bottles and will have to wait for 10 minutes for the steriliser to run.
