Outfits for big belly!

I’m size 16-18 and most of my weight is on my stomach, it’s big and round so I’m not able to tuck it into my jeans! Any recommendations for nice tops/trousers/dresses that flatter the stomach? I tend to wear big sweatshirts or T-shirts but I don’t have anything for going out somewhere nice.

Commenting to follow as I've not lost baby weight, have actually gone up to a 14/16 as well. Would love to find a nice shift dress but they're not in fashion atm, it's still those tea dresses and things with belts! Fat face (I really wish that shop was called something else!) have some nice bits in the sale that look comfy and can be dressed up?

My weight fluctuates like crazy going from a ten to and 18 almost every two years! Right now I am bursting out of everything So I feel your pain!! Do you have a big bust? Personally I accentuate my bust if I have to go out, so a low cut wrap dress or something gathered at the side should be quite flattering and Spanx type pants are my best friend! I don’t think they make you look slimmer just less bumpy. A line/empire dresses too, it’s hard to find these styles right now in stores but if you look online you’ll find loads no doubt. Check asos, but beware their sizing it’s rubbish! Always go up a size in most asos branded clothes and check the reviews first x

No I’m barely a C cup, no cleavage to mention! I have very rarely found anything online that fit me nicely (other than my wedding dress weirdly!), I’ve just turned 40 so I’m walking a thin line between looking mumsy or mutton!

I have a big belly which is accentuated as I have no breasts due to mastectomies. Over time I have come to realise that v necked cotton type tops and shirts with little stretch but sized correctly for me are the best. I look for a small amount of drape and zero pulling. The worst tops are those with stretch that seem to fit okay when standing still but immediately ride up when moving. Thin stretchy tops are the worst.
