Hi, Not very up on Maclarens.

However, cheapest is Volo- no recline and no footrest. Next is Triumph- possibly 2 seat positions but no footrest. Then its Quest which has reclineable seat and foot rest. Then its Techno and Techno XLR. The Technos are better by far than the others but obviously reflected in the prices.

The Techno has a higher handle height than the others I think.

The Ryder is similar to the Quest, there is one on the Maclaren website in tartan.

Hope that helps.

Hi, I'm another Maclaren fan but have only ever used Technos as they are so fab. I would imagine they would all push the same, if you look at the Maclaren website the frame is the same.

My Volo has a footrest and strangely wasn't that cheap either

Volo feels like a toy buggy to me. VERY light, no suspension, good for short trips. We got ours for £40.

I have just bought a quest mod! I needed it for my nephew (10 mths) as i look after him in the week, and also for my twins (3) to share for shopping trips at weekends. Would recommend for both age groups!

In the shops they should have brouchures which sums up the differences between them all.

We got our Volo for a trip to Florida as is so lightweight, I think it cost about £70-80 (about 2 yrs ago), but it has the hood, raincover, seat liner, bag with it etc which they don't all come with.

They say suitable from 6mo but I would say more like 1yo! I do like it though as easy to push but have to use buggy weights on it to stop it tipping over.

Don't think it was designed for everyday use with younger children.

I think there is a comparison chart on the maclarenbaby website? i've a Quest, btw. Love it. £4 from the charity shop!

tah-dah!

I wanted a Volo as I travel a lot on public transport and on holiday and need to fold/unfold/carry the buggy.

It's nearly 2 years old and going strong.
