Which Baby Gap socks is it that stay on? When DD was a baby, 5 years ago, I seem to remember that it was only one particular style - double-roll, or something... am I imagining that?!

I loved the double roll ankle socks they came in loads of colours and had rubber "baby gap" stamped in white on the bottom. Is that the ones?
The thing I liked was they were nicely elasticated not too tight but they didn't stretch or go mis-shapen.

needtoasksomething · 26/03/2008 09:34

Yes, they are the ones!
Both my DS's only wear those

PortAndLemon · 26/03/2008 09:35

The ones with white writing ("Baby Gap" and the age bracket) on the bottom; not sure what they are called.

Macdog · 26/03/2008 09:36

The sports sock style are the best ones I found.
They grip without beiing too tight.
£3.50 for 2 pairs

needtoasksomething · 26/03/2008 09:36

£1.99 each or 3 pairs for a fiver!

Triple roll socks are the ones you are after. They are usually on offer 3 for £10 or something like that, cheaper if you can get to an outlet store.

I used to work there and had many many many customers who loved these socks. I think they are fab too but I have to get my MIL to send them to me now as there is no Gap in Australia - boo hoo!!

superloopy · 26/03/2008 09:41

oops I was too slow there and a bit wrong with the price.... It's been 5yrs since I worked there...

MrsBadger · 26/03/2008 09:42

yep

the double roll top ones with the grippy bottoms

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 26/03/2008 10:14

Yep double roll with Baby Gap written in whote rubbery stuff on the bottom. Go form age 0-6 mths to 4-5 yrs.

3 for £5 and worth every penny! I do still have some navy ones of ds's who is 10 now and dd who is 20 mths uses them.

Tinkjon · 26/03/2008 11:08

Triple-roll is the name I remember (thanks superloopy!) but everyone seems to think double-roll just as good by the sound of it? Thanks everybody, will have a trip into town today!

I think they are the same - you fold them over twice (hence the 'double') meaning there are three layers of sock rond the ankle (hence the 'triple')

Tinkjon · 26/03/2008 11:37

Aha, thanks MrsBadger!
