Do you remember those old fashioned night lights that were common in the 70's?The ones like a mushroom with a light in for kids bedrooms. When we decorate the kids bedrooms I'd love to find a couple of these lights and have been looking around and can find nothing like it,it's all plastic and revolving ones now.Does anyone know where you can buy these sort anywhere?

Thanks for that Soupdragon,it's quite pretty and colourful. That's definately the kind of thing and I was hoping to find a little house type one with the lights shining through the windows if one exists.I did once go into a lovely shop in the lanes in Brighton where this family made all their own pottery and saw like a castle one.I live so far away from there though and only occasionally visit and can't remember the name of it,I wondered if they had a website.Does anyone know where I mean?

Star, we have one that we bought abouut 4 years ago - unfortunately I can't remember where! Suspect it may have been John Lewis (or that was the ceramic clown one). Ours is a cute little house with mice round it & lights coming out of the window. Problem is, it has been binned out by the kids in favour of the revolving ones that displays sharks on the walls

Could have been the Pottery Workshop 94 Trafalgar Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4ER
Phone: 01273 601641
(Fax: 01273 601641)

But I'm not sure Trafalgar Street is the Lanes (or Laines)

Folks thanks,I'm still on the hunt.Soupdragon you should be a researcher, you're like the yellow pagesI shall let you know if they are the one when I have given them a ding dong later.Got a feeling it must be though.
Berries,I think a cute little house is much more appealing than sharks but we must change with the times perhaps? What a pity you got rid of it I could have given you a tenner for it,it sounds exactly what I'm after. In fact I'm not even asking them what they want, they will just be presented with it.They can choose the decor and I'll choose the lighting.

It was the only potter that came up on a "this is Brighton" type website.

I'm not the yellow pages, just a bored SAHM with a broadband connection...
