LIGHT rearfacing pushchair? Thinking cherry / nipper

I have had the Buzz (which I loved!) The icandy apple (which I hated) The infinity (I liked).. and currently have the Maxi cosi Mura (fantastic) BUT they are all heavy for gett ing in and out of the car All more than 10kg
I've been looking at the cherry ( but am worried as I found the apple flimsy and unstable... or the new out'n'about nipper, or can anyone recommend a different light weight rear facing buggy?
Thanks all help appreciated! My back is killing me!

i nearly bought a cherry, but i decided against it as it wasn't sturdy enough for me, i didnt think it would last long, and my daughter was too big (18m) for the footmuff.

I dont think theres many rear facing stroller types, the bugaboo bee, the chicco for me, the new pilko switch,
not sure how heavy the britax vigour 4 is?

dizzychixies · 22/03/2008 13:06

I have the brittax 4 and its neither too heavy nor too light - its not a buggy but its not a pram either. dd is now 22months and I don't like her sleeping in it as she doesn't look comfy but she's fine sitting up when we're out walking - she's very tall for her age though.

its very easy to swap from front to rear facing too and I certainly don't find it flimsy

mothercare has it is you want to try it for weight - I realise I haven't been particularly helpful lol

Bebeconfort Streety? Its only 8kgs and folds with the seat attached either way. Its on my wishlist currently! I'm hoping desperately for a cheap one to come up somewhere!

Hi jellies!!!!!!!

fairibell · 22/03/2008 20:31

We have a Cherry and love it!! Is there somewhere you can go and have a play with it??

PixelHerder · 22/03/2008 21:11

Have heard some negative stuff about the Cherry's reliability (do a search here).

The Bee's definitely worth a look, is 7.7kg but I haven't owned one so can't recommend.

sazm · 22/03/2008 21:21

yep i have seen a lot of bad reviews on the cherry, but im sure they changed the chassis to solve the probs.but if you didnt like the apple, you prob wouldnt like the cherry as the apple is much more sturdy (heavier too mind)
