Are wicker moses baskets much better than palm leaf ones?

And do you think I'd be able to sell it after I've finished with it?

We're planning #3 and it won't get much use but I'd rather buy something that will last (even if it will last for someone else) rather than something that will be thrown away.

We had a palm leaf one - well made, strong, and smooth surface. We got the cheapest £30 from JL and it was great for the three months we needed it, and will be great for another LO (crosses fingers). We did buy a better foam mattress tho.
I imagine most of those on sale are very similar - just differences in material used for hood/quilt (we never used the quilt so didn't matter for us whether it had teddies on or not {smile]). Some are ridiculously expensive.

WE had a wicker moses basket bought when we had dd2[our 3rd dc] and we used it for about 4mths then I sold it on ebay and got back about half what it had cost.

Hmm, still can't decide, maybe I'm just looking for justification for spending more

I had no idea they made them out of more than one substance! And now I do know - there's nothing I can do with that info anyway - but thank you nonetheless!
