I bought an item from a seller on Vinted a few weeks back, it was sent via Royal Mail directly to my house. Because it was sent via RM, you don't get notified when a delivery is on route/ delivered.

It came to about a week after, and I thought I'd better check the tracking she provided - it said it had been delivered 2 days prior but no parcel had arrived. I checked ring doorbell footage and the postie had put it in one of my bins but left no calling card. The bin had been put out an emptied the day before...

I've tried raising with Vinted but I'm just getting automated responses. The seller is increasingly being difficult/ defensive and quite frankly rude. She says it's not her fault and I should issue the funds (I agree it's not her fault), but it's also not my fault and I don't want to be left out of pocket for a item I didn't receive.

Has anyone had this experience/ can help with how they resolved it? The seller is also telling me to contact Royal Mail but I'm not sure that's something I should do, and maybe should come from her side?
