Need a lightweight buggy/stroller - ideas please

Does anyone have any good ideas of a lightweight pushchair/buggy that can be used from birth or 3 months plus? I need something to take on hol etc when baby is about 3/4 months and most buggies are 6 months plus. Don't want to spend too much either, have proper travel system but is bit bulky for whole family plus luggage.

Is it worth looking at umbrella folding ones secondhand? I bought a SH M&P pliko when I was in exactly the same position. These do have the downside of the older ones the folding mechanism gets stiff. I now have a mothercare paul vogel buggy instead, but it's the same size. A friend has a quinny zapp, they fold to be tiny, and can be used with a carseat.
