Fisher price kick and play bouncer

Hi!

I'm loking for a bouncy chair for my 5 week old ds and thought this one looked quite good.

Has anyone else had this? If so what did you think? I plan on using it upstairs and downstairs - is it quite portable and light? Also does it fold down - if not does it take up a lot of room?

Thanks

well i dont know about bouncers, but i had a take-along-swing like the one on this page for ds3 and it transformed the first couple of months for me (my other two were 18m and 2.5 when no3 came along, so i needed all the hands free time i could get, and i didnt know about proper slings that dont hurt you back then)

we bought a kick and play 4 years ago for my neice - it has since been used by a further 4 children in the family and is still going on strong. Would recommend highly.

Sorry just realised my link didn't work it's the fisher price linka doos one and I got it for £22.50 from kiddicare but it looks like they're out of stock it's £25 in toys r' us but also out of stock

It's worth waiting for it's fab my baby is so comfy in it the toys are great as is the attached blanket and vibration movement you can switch on or off the only thing it hasn't got is annoying music or lights but imo that is a good thing!

We had the aquarium swing for ds 1 which seems to have a similar seat to the kick and play which is what put me off the one you are considering. The baby was more upright in it and he didn't look or seem comfortable in it for long. The linkadoos is designed so the baby can fall asleep in it.

We had the linkadoos one too and it was well worth it the toys are nice and you can attach other toys too.
