ds1 is 16mths and got a wheelybug for christmas - but he just doesn't seem to understand how it works.Much prefers to pick it up than push it or ride it - any ideas how to get him to use it properly?

would say he's a bit young to get it unless he sees somone else doing it. dd3 has one but hardly gets to use it because of her sisters using it all the time. pushing it is fine

He is using it properly.

Just not your properly, that's all.

He'll get it when he's good and ready.

None of mine get it, and they are 9, 4 & 2. They think it can be used as a step, a skate board and a quick way to come down stairs. but all of them love it.

thanks

guess i just want to see him flying round the house on it and am getting impatient!! (and worried he'll break his foot when he picks it up and drops it back down on floor!)

ds2's the same, but he loves it anyway which is worth it & ds1 (4) gets lots of use out of it! He's not walking yet, so might do once he's mastered that...
