Waitrose collection

Does anyone here work for Waitrose and can they advise?

I ordered Christmas food from Waitrose entertaining but stupidly seem to have booked a time slot I can’t get to. For some reason I thought I was collecting on Friday at 6-7pm but on checking today I have booked Sunday at 11-12noon. We’re taking the kids out on Christmas Eve and I won’t be able to get there until about 2pm in the afternoon. It’s too late to change it online now. Are they likely to keep it if I turn up late? Or will they sell it on? I can’t cancel the kids event but I also don’t want to have no meat for Christmas dinner.

Just ring the branch and tell them. My DH is a manager and I just asked him. He says you need to ring otherwise they’ll put it on the shelf as it’s the last day of shopping. It won’t be a problem if you call them 😊
