Worth the money? We rent a house with huge lounge and for some reason landlady put a thick cream carpet in the lounge. My DC are 2 and 5. You get the idea. Cream carpet in filthy with new coffee stain thanks to DH. Apparently I can hire Rug Doctor for 24 hours, paying about £30 for machine and shampoo. But are they any good?

We found it was worth every penny.
Use it every 6-8 months.
We bought the shampoo, and that lasted for two rentals of the machine.

Think I'll give it a go then, thanks. Save me scrubbing on my hands and knees with soap and water!
