help me figure out taxes etc for buying a buggy outside the uk.

am looking at buying the e3 from a company in CAlifornia usa, and the interbank exchange rate makes it £232, which is £118 cheaper than uk prices. i will have to pay for taxes etc at customs right? how do i figure oput how much i'll be charged for buying outside the uk?

I never got charged on mine as he put it down as a gift but even so it's 17.5 % vat if you do

I bought mine from Rodney in August. I was charged VAT at 17.5% - worked out about GBP40 or thereabouts as you're charged on the full cost of the item and the delivery.

Rodney declared it as a gift and put down a much reduced value on the item (and delivery) so that if you're charged VAT, it will be on the lower amount too.

oh yes and I ordered on a Friday and it arrived the following Tuesday.

yeah i'm looking using kiwi-kid company. one thing that worries me is it it arrives damaged or needs a repair, what can i do about it?

and roughly how much did it all cost in total including VAT etc? which combination did u get? am after double strolller, raincover and cocoon.
