Im not very good at technical stuff so will sound odd! There is a metal rod atatched to the wheel that you insert into the main buggy frame. Whilst in warranty it got bent, and was replaced immeadiately. (I bought it in Fulham, Lonon).

It has now happened again! : ( And I wonder if there is something wrong with the actual frame. It looks alright, but I just fustrated as we do look after our buggy.

Any advice, anybody else had this problem?

thanks!

'Our' phil and teds has been 'used and abused' for nearly 3 years and we have had no problems

we did choose it over jane because it looked much sturdier. I am feeling very miffed

have you spoken to P&T?

perhaps give them a call and explain and maybe as a goodwill gesture they will just send you a new one?

bracingair · 13/03/2008 21:55

Good idea, will call them tomorrow. We dont use it as a double anymore (dd is 4 now), but was too expensive to last for just 2 years.

Definately talk to P&T - I had the bit of metal that connects the wheel to the buggy (same bit?!?) replaced free of charge (I just asked them where to get one) - and my buggy was a second hand one, & defn not in warrenty. I contacted P&T in NZ direct via the website...

oh good! their website directs me to the uk contact here. Is this who you called?

tbh, I can't remember! I'm pretty sure I emailed HO in Oz/NZ (a very creepy "I love P&T & recommend you to all my mates - can you help me get it back on the road" type missive) then got a phone call from the UK stockist. This was about 18 mths ago, so P&T weren't quite as extabilshed. And I did write asking how much it would be - they just offered it for free (I got a replacement handle too)
I was hugely impressed - top customer service

I also got a free wheel from P and T when my dad blew one of the wheels to pieces by using a Garage air pump to try to blow up the tyres.
