lol, i was going to buy a cherry but changed my mind at the last minute as it wasn't really sturdy enough for what i needed,i think it would be fine in town but not ideal for using every day or for walking far with as the wheels are quite plasticy and no suspension,i dont thik it would last from birth right through if you used it every day,

the apple is lovely and is much better built, fine if you walk most places but HEAVY and quite bulky, also bulky when folded, i didnt fancy lifting it in and out of the car!(not that it would have fitted in mines anyway!)
the pear is the double version of the apple i think.

i have an apple and its great - sturdy, good off road, comfy, lots of options with seat, looks good, good shopping basket etc. but yes its heavy - esp with carrycot.
I wish I had got the pear as its a bit lighter in single mode i think and then you can easily convert to a double(rather than buying v expensive upgrade kit for the apple)

IMO you need a sturdy pram for a bit then a cheap mclaren - but the sturdy pushchair/pram can still be used when you want to go off road (does thta make sense - prob not)

so not owrth shelling out for a bugaboo as most people seem to only use them for about 8 months

but you prob know this as you are on dc3 and i'm only on ds1!
