Hello

Need a change bag for twins that'll fit on the back of my Nipper 360, don't want to spend loads, any thoughts??

It depends on how you plan on feeding the DTs. If you're bfing you really don't need a big bag.

Will link this thread so that the multi mums on d'y ever can let you know what they got.

I simply used an ordinary change bag because I bf my DTs.

I would buy any bag that you like rather than a specific change bag - they tend to be expensive and you will be surprised how little you really need to carry every single day.

eg two nappies, small pack of wipes, disposable mat, one spare vest. You can always keep those things inside a plastic wallet inside a normal bag.

But if you insist! Great little trading company do nice ones!

Thanks for the reply

Am really hoping to b/f, as i did with my DD, but may mix feed a bit this time??

Only problem i forsee is that the Nipper had really wide handle bar, so wondered how a normal bag would fit?

is there space underneath? i dont know the nipper im afraid. Or choose a bag that you can sling over your shoulder or across you. I find that i still need a large-ish bag for my older ones - wipes, book, tissues, water bottle etc but i dont always have a buggy so need to be able to carry it with me - so think ahead to those heady days before spending 100 quid or so

outinthesticksmummy · 11/03/2008 12:45

100 quid!! not likely!! will also have a 3yr old dd with me most of the time, so will need spare hands. Nipper does have a basket underneath mmmmmmmm

TBH I used the free Huggies one from Boots! They weren't as big then then either and my two were in cloth nappies.

outinthesticksmummy · 11/03/2008 13:09

what about this one

40 quid??

Like the idea of the free Boots one, how do i get that??

A messenger style bag will have more chance of fitting over the handle as they extend quite a bit to go across the body. If you can make it into boots they have a lot of that style & you could see how wide they go? Then buy a 2nd hand one from here or ebay. I have a little company bag which has a very long strap, I'd be happy to measure it for you to give an idea - how wide is nipper's handle? I also have a mothercare one which extends a lot and that was £30 (prob. lots less on ebay), it's pretty large.

snorris · 11/03/2008 13:12

I think you have to join their parenting club and then you get sent a voucher. You then get the bag plus a few other goodies when you buy a packet of nappies.
I hope they still do it now I've told you about it

CarGirl · 11/03/2008 13:14

I've got a large change bag which is sand and black if you're interested, can be used as a back pack but has a long extening strap that I could measure, it is messenger style.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 11/03/2008 13:15

Get a clp on bag if you really want a changing bag.

outinthesticksmummy · 11/03/2008 13:23

handle width is 65cm, would appreciate it if you would measure yours for me AQ.

Cargirl, if you could measure too that would be great, how much were you looking for?

Will def, join up to Boots as well.

Thanks so much for all you help it really is much appreciated!!

It should go around handle bars that are width up to 75/80 I reckon, what's your email addy and I'll send you a photo was thinking of £10 delivered??? It's quite good because it's got a reinforced rubbery bit at the bottom so you can put it on a damp floor and it stay dry plus it's survived the washing machine!

Will try and do that tomorrow for you outinthesticks I ought to give the little company one a wash it's stuck permanently in the car as my spare!

accessorizequeen · 14/03/2008 15:05

DP's got the car with the little co bag in it, but the mothercare bag strap is 48inches fully extended. It's this one. It has an expandable section, you unzip it to make more room in the main bit of the bag. It's cumbersome when full, but what isn't?
