Hi everyone
We have booked to go on holiday to Cornwall and June and I see the journey will take 5 hours!!
Thinking a DVD player will be a must for a 6, 4 and one year old! Can anyone advise please?
Thanks!

We bought one last year for the very same reason, and I'm not joking when I say we din't hear a peep out of them for the entire 5.5hrs. Amazing!

We've got this from Argos. The only thing I would change is that I would get the type where the place to put the disc in is behind one of the monitors. We have one where there is a central console which you put the disc in and it generally lies on the floor in the car near the back of the handbrake which means the DC sometimes tread on it when they are clambering around, which does it no good!!

We bought this from Argos. The disc goes behind the screen. This one also lets you play a different DVD on each monitor, or you can join them together so that they are both playing the same. It is wonderful for our 2 children who always argue about what they want to watch, so now they can decide themselves.

The disc goes behind the monitor (like forkhandles mentions). However, it can sometimes be awkward if the DVD needs changing during the journey as you can't really get to it. A central console is probably better for this, but then you would only be able to play one DVD at a time.
