Swim Nappies - can I get away with the Huggies small size

dd is 11lbs pretty much on the nose but the smallest Huggies swimming nappies are 16lbs - I have a swimsuit for her that might squeeze it in a bit, do you reckon I can get away with it? Don't want to be the one they have to evacuate the pool for!!

I used to do this, they seem to fit ok! Not much else you can do, as they don't make smaller sizes. The costume would prob hold things in long enough to get out of the pool in case of emergancy poo!!

the washable swim nappies tend to start from 11lbs (I got one from mothercare that was a bit smaller than the disposables). Boots also do swimming costumes with built in nappies.

p.s. We have taken ds (now 17 months) swimming regularly since he was 3 months old and he has never pooed in the pool.

boots swim nappies are quite small on side (or at least they used to be) thats what we used

Mothercare do great washable swim nappies(suit with terry padding to cach any accidents)
They come in S- XL, my wee one is on her second pair, although she has never pooed in the pool.
Small size would fit 11bls.

Thanks for all the replies - I just got the small huggies ones and it was fine; they didn't seem that big at all.

Incidentally, one of the older kids pooed in the pool just as he was getting out! Staff didn't look too pleased!
