You know how it is coming up to Christmas/birthdays ... you spend so much energy coming up with ideas for relatives about what they can buy your child, that you have no ideas remaining for yourself!
Want to thank the mumsnetter who mentioned on one of the threads about Tesco.com doing wooden railways compatible with Brio. Wanted to get ds some Brio but just couldn't justify the cost for this Christmas - didn't even realise that Tesco did a cheap version! Well that's my present solved... and hopefully will be a bit more solvent in years to come so I can build it up with Brio if he turns out to love it.
