Can you buy a carry cot style bed/bag for a newborn to sleep in, that can be attached to my old M+P pliko.?

My Pliko is about 5 years old. Its fine though and the car seat looks very new.

Just wondering for when we have no.3.

My friend has a P+T and I love carry cot bag as its so great for bringing the baby in wherever she goes. My house, toddlers etc.

Can you buy a similar style bag and attatch it with the 5 point harness to my Pliko when its fully reclined?

If you can't I may invent one...
TIA

on the continent you can buy similar as a soft carrycot, try looking in Vertbaudet or La Redoute, not for overnight use though. Not sure if they fix as such or just rest on the pushchair itself.

u could put a myod liner or carry cot in it but it would still be forward facing

sazm · 07/03/2008 16:23

you could also just buy a p&t cocoon and use that in the pilko??

LIZS · 07/03/2008 16:35

like this

sazm · 07/03/2008 16:44

hmm, never noticed where you said you wanted to be able to use the harness!
only thing with that is you couldn't have lo facing you,if you used another make of carrycot like the graco/p&t you could have it facing you, but it would just be sitting in,you could fit something to it to attach it to the pushchair though.

You can still buy a Navetta csrrycot from ebay - we had one, it clicks onto the Pliko easily and used to be suitable for a car carrier too but I think they stopped recommending that.

It's small but nice, it's hard bodied and quite neat.

Here's one

Thanks everyone

Not too bothered about it being forward facing. The buggy doesn't lie completely flat so the baby would be a little bit upside down if the carry cot was facing me!

I just thought it would be nice to be able to lift them out, still sleeping and still flat.

I could just put any carry cot in but just wondered if there was an attachable one.

Do M+P sell a carry cot for the new pliko??

Flora, that one looks good but I was looking for a soft one as i think it would be easier to store.

princessmel · 07/03/2008 20:58

Whats a mypod?

The Graco one linked looks good if it would fit on our pram.
