treid the only 4 antique shops/dealers locally(within 30 miles) and no answer.
I have a piece or furniture in the ahll which we inherited from previous owner, i think they did the same.
It is (i think) mahogany, very tall with a seat/storage compartment at the bottom, then the back is very tall and(i assume this was done at a later stage?) 6 lovely coats hooks and a triangular mirror attatched along side(hooks) and top centre(mirror)..it has arms/side on wither side of the seat/storage which have a carved long oval hole in them, beneath them at bottom of the unit are two ridges both with a small narrow iron 'trough' kind of thuing..to me it lok like this bit was made to stand unbrellas in(the trough to catch water?)...anyone know or can direct me to someone who might?
