Am really struggling to find a good pair of waterproof boots for long dog walks. Have tried several (not inexpensive) welly brands but I can't seem to get the fit right. They are either too roomy at the heel and my foot feels like its sliding out, or they fit well but within 10minutes of walking properly outside, my toes are smashing the front of the boot.
I have a pair of walking boots which are great but need something that copes better with proper rain and mud. Am considering a pair of 'country boots' as perhaps my feet just aren't the right shape for wellies, but worry that they are similar in terms of style of boot (feet slip in rather than are laced in).
Am size 5 in regular shoes, standard instep. Any advice very gratefully received 😊
