Can anyone recommend a really good, easy, Olympus compact camera?

I'm looking for a good, simple('ish) Olympus camera but don't really know where to start (too much choice) and wondered whether anyone could recommend one?

I know I definitely DO NOT want any camera that has a touch screen operating system, they are a nightmare and I'm also dubious as to the quality of the camera/picture of the ultra, ultra compact ones, but otherwise I'm open to any recommendations that anyone might have.

TIA.

does it have to be Olympus? I recommend the Ixus (any Ixus)

I have one of the mju range (720? 700? not a clue tbh) and it's great. small, easy to use, good battery life, quite quick take time.

does film as well, according to space on memory card (have a huge memory card that does up to 7 mins film, which is quite good going for a stills camera.

Have had it a couple of years, and the only reason I'd change would be for a slightly larger optical zoom (is only 3x)

I have a miu-mini (sp?) (5.0 megapixel) and I love it. It's really easy to use - even I manage it .

No, it doesn't have to be an Olympus ... it's just that that was the last one that I had that I was happy with.

Got given a Sony compact camera for my birthday and I'm going to have to try and eBay it or sell it somehow because it's too technical for me and I just can't seem to take good photos with it (I feel very bad about that as DH bought it for me) ... I'm not trying to be Litchfield or anything, I just want to be able to take decent (unblurred) photos of my daughters as their little lives progress!

I shall look up all your suggestions and take a look. I'm slightly cautious about getting anything too small as I'm not sure whether it added to the blurry photos that I seemed to have produced with the Sony camera.
