Can you find me lots of cheap , airtight storage jars?

not that bothered about colour, although red or silver would be good ! for things like couscous, rice , pulses etc for my pantry.....

any recommendations?

Tesco have some nice glass ones pretty cheap, the kind with the seal and a clip top type thing.

Those look good. Must admit I have plastic tubs like that for flour and stuff and nice glass ones for my cous cous and pulses that live on the work tops.

oh no, i would want red glass ones to store on work tops!!

I was in a house on friday where the owner had taken a door off one of her cupboards to display her jar collection.

They were all empty coffee jars she had washed out. They had matching lids & were a lovely shape.

Filled with lentils, couscous, beans etc all beautiful colours

She said she had got them on freecycle! She had asked for empty coffee jars & people contact her when they have a few for her

that is a nice idea!

morrisons sell cheap plstic tubs, i use them for biscuits.

Douwe Egberts instant coffee comes in fab glass jars with an airtight glass stopper.

Hmmm and my googling efforts to try too find pictures has informed me that a tesco seal top jar is not only good for displaying lentils but also great for keeping your weed nice and fresh.
