Hi All, it may be just a rant after spending spree... but I have to.
So my son is 10 and on a chunkier side. I recently realised nothing in his wardrobe suddenly fits him and time to exchange for bigger size. So went shopping and at tge age of 10 he fits in tight Small of adult clothes, ideally Medium adult or 14-15 that not many shops have any more for kids section.
With kids getting bigger and taller with each generation I find it a bit unfair that from age of 10 I cannot buy tax free clothing but have to spend small fortune every time we go through growth spurt.
In current financial climate, being single mum I felt like crying today. Food got more expensive, clothes will be a nightmare going forward. There is not much else I can cut down on to make it work. :(
