good bathroom radio suggestions..

lousy rec eption here, can't get Radio 4 on tinny shower radio - anyone know of a decent radio for bathroom, not necessarily one to hang in shower

best way to improve reception in a room is to put the radio in the window

I'd try borrowing one and doing that first to see if it works, you could buy a fab radio and still not pick up anything

that might be tricky as there's a very narrow sill and nowhere to put radio ! Reception is variable all through the house - quite hilly all round

'Pure' digital radios tend to be quite good.

Hampshire - we have a digital personal radio,like a walkman but the reception varies on that too

I'd be tempted to buy a nice small Pure digital one - and build a teeny shelf for it so that an aerial can be close to the window. the bbc website gives you an idea from your postcode what the reception will be like

we're having the bathroom done in a few weeks, so might ask if they could put a shelf to one side of window - It'd be worth buying a decent digital one I reckon...I haven't listened to The Archers omnibus in my bath since I moved here nearly 3 yrs ago !

we had a windowledge built by carpenter that juts out from window quite a bit - but because it's all painted white it looks ok
