How can i get a hood for my buggy?

I bought a mamas and papas nipi buggy when it was on sale and was hoping that i could get the weather pack separately elsewhere. Of course everywhere sold out and i still have a buggy with no hood. I've been trawling ebay but no luck there either - so what can i do?

Does anyone know if any of the maclaren hoods will fit - they look the same size.

Where else can i get a new hood from? Does anyone make them?

Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help i can't keep my DD in on rainy/sunny days forever!!

TIA

Try posting on the wanted section here. I did a few days ago for a raincover and was offered 3!

I know Mothercare sell generic rain covers for all makes of buggy - the latest catalogue shows them with a guide to what model they fit. Not sure if they include M & P but worth a look...

Hi - its not the rain cover but the hood itself as i want to take it on hols and give a bit of shade (or attach a shade to it).

I've seen lots of wanted ads for them but never any replies (but will try anyway ta). I was just wondering if there was an alternative the M&P one?

Doesn't anyone know if you can buy replacement buggy hoods which may fit?

I phoned mamas and papas head office and got a replacement hood for my buggy think it cost about £20.

fab - thank you - didn't think of that. I'd just asked in the shops and they said there were none anywhere!
