Anyone recommend which of the 8 choices of M&P mattresses to go for ? I have ordered a cot but no mattress cos choice was just too daunting !! Have ruled out the basic foam one and feel guilted into the most expensive but is it necessary ???

We bought the natural fibre one - twice (got a new one when DS2 came along) and find it great - think it's one of the expensive ones though!

We had the M and P natural fibre/coir one as we bought a M and P cot but even though ds wasn't big and only used it for 2 years max it flattened a lot through use and didn't seem as supportive afterwards (now at PIL's). Perhaps we just didn't turn it often enough. For dd we had a Mothercare sprung one in same M and P cot and it is still as good as new after 3 years of use, although the cover wasn't removable, but even that cost about £50.
