Small LCD tv's, do they not have an ariel socket ??

My mum has brought a little lcd tv for her bedroom. She has no main ariel in there and no freeview/sky/cable etc.

She has just rung me to say that the tv has no ariel socket, only a scart socket.

Is that right then ? Do they assume that everyone now has sky or alternative ??

Can she buy an adaptor that fits into scart socket, but has an areial socket attatched ?

DH says it should still have an ariel socket. Are you sure she hasn't bought a monitor and not a t.v?

He says that all t.v's need an ariel as most of the video connections run off of it (codax cable?).

I haven't a bloody clue myself and if he is wrong, please tell me so that I can rub it in!!

Good luck!!!
