Does anyone have a way of contacting DPD and talking to an actual person???
Today, waited in for a parcel delivery.
Four minutes before the allocated hour slot I had a ''sorry we missed you'' email, while I was sitting at the computer and facing the road.
No sign of a van.
Mildly irritating in itself, but then I log on to tracking, which informs me they had been unable to deliver to my DPD pick up point - ??? - delivery was supposed to be to my home address - and I can pick it up tomorrow from a random Coop in a completely different town, miles away!
I don't drive, certainly aren't going to pick up from a random Coop 12 miles away when it should be a home delivery, and unable to rearrange another delivery, which always used to be an option.
I have the number for the local depot, but it just rang out.
DPD aren't on Twitter, their Facebook site hasn't been updated in three years, and the direct number is automated and doesn't let me talk to a person.
Aside from the fact that the driver didn't even attempt delivery, is this a new thing, to deliver to random pick up points instead of home addresses?
Should I contact the retailer to sort out?
