Because I can't decide if I really like them or not, whether they have more fridge space than I currently have etc etc

do you mean a double fridge thingy, ...like a "side by side" maida?

LyraSilvertongue · 24/02/2008 23:21

I'm desperate for one but the kitchen's too small. I really want the water/ice dispenser in the freezer door. My mum has one and it's fab. I'm so

we have one, and LOVE IT

I remember the day it came, (after struggling with 5 small children including bottles for the then baby, just with a basic fridge/freezer) and I was just in lurve with it!!!

I stroked it and caressed it, and got strange looks for the over-loving of it, but I would never ever go back to a basic fridge/freezer....EVER!

one thing tho.........don;t go for one with the ice-cube maker. you need it conected to water so as to always have enough water for ice AND cold water, plus it uses up way too much space of the freezer. I have a friend with that sort, and she so regrets it.

we have the one with just a water cooler/dispenser and I would not be without it, but I can add my water to it, meaning the fridge is moverable if you decide to change the kitchen about, and also that I have only lost one door shelf from the fridge, rather than literally half the entire freezer.

ours is a samsung one

I need the ice dispenser.

We have a Maytag one and we love it. Find the stainless steel a bit of a mare though as it's a bugger to clean. Would def recommend one though!

I'd better start saving up then! Thanks x

Just got one last week, and we're all in love with it.

Went to a farm shop today and bought loads of meat to freeze. I'm planning on making bulk meals to store.

We decided against the water dispenser and ice as it left little freezer space, and we also thought the DSs would fiddle with it and break it.

It's a Samsung in graphite and easier to clean than stainless steel.

since they are so-o-o big, don't you find you just waste more food, cos you fill it and then the food goes off before you cn eat it????

hertsnessex · 25/02/2008 17:14

We have a maytag aswell, its great. tons of room.

sorkycake · 25/02/2008 17:17

We have had one for the last ten years, it's plumbed into the mains and we have a filter for the water dispenser. I love it!

lizziemun · 25/02/2008 18:20

I have mixed veiws of ours.

I like the fact that we have filter cold water and ice on tap.

But I wish the freezer part was bigger and the fridge smaller. As our fridge is mostly empty.

PestoMonster · 25/02/2008 18:26

We have a white Maytag. It is fabbo. Filtered water, ice - crescent shaped or crushed and plenty of freezer space. I love it.

JoshandJamie · 25/02/2008 19:09

We have a black Maytag with a glass front. It is fab. Ice maker (both crescents and crushed) plus chilled water. The freezer isn't enormous as a result - but more than enough space. We also have a big chest freezer in the garage that I use for big joints of meat and spare milk etc but you could easily do without it. And the fridge - I've never managed to fill it. It's cavernous!

WinnieThePooh · 25/02/2008 19:12

We have this Siemens it is fab having water and ice on tap.
