I had the quest and then upgraded to the Maclaren Techno (gave the quest to my neighbour) Yes it is more expensive but I found the tilting hood absolutely invaluable- saved the hassle of parasols. Also my prem baby is still a bit little and prefered the Maclaren Techno -simply more robust. I did gulp at the price, but it is v.good and now I don't regret it at all. I was always breaking or losing parasols. Good luck !

I've got a Techno and love it, very sturdy and reliable goes over rough ground no problem.

I have had the techno, the quest and the xlr. My favourite is the quest because its lightweight, compact, good lie back, good leg support, ok basket a great little buggy. The XT I found heavy for a lightweight bulkier folded, again though it has good lie back and leg support, ok basket just a bit to big for a little buggy. The XLR is lovely and will last ages but it is very big and quite heavy, perfect for a good sized toddler.

If you are using it as an everyday buggy and not just a car and bus buggy then probably the xt or xlr are better but for a throw in car and public transport then quest is better. Not sure any of them are any good over rough ground. I live in an area with rough ground and none of them cope well with it, the micralite was ok on that
