Help ... need a backless bra by Thursday ...

Have looked at Figleaves and it's not looking good ... need black and there may be one option ... don't want to pay #40 plus for it as I'll probably just wear one night. Plastic strap on the back won't work as the top is completely bare - nor will one of the multi-way bras so it really does need to be one of the stick-on ones. I bought some of the stick on patches yesterday (Brazi bra or something) but am apprehensive about using them as I'm breastfeeding DS and would worry about adhesive on my nipples ... also, what if I leak milk I'd be sunk!!!!!

Oh, tried an adhesive one on in La Senza yesterday but the B cup was tiny and the C up fine on one side and too big on the other so didn't buy it and now regretting it but won't be anywhere near shop between now and Thurs and they don't do express delivery via website.

Is there anywhere else I can try??

HELP!

you can get stick on ones on ebay for about £10 millie - lou33 uses them and says they're good!

I've got a pair of scissors? Grin

How about \link{http://order.next.co.uk/shot.asp?b=X34&p=206&s=2&n=Womenswear\this one?}

How about masking tape? Or an instant boob-job clinic. (Sorry, not funny).

Millie1 · 12/12/2004 21:25

Thanks all! Spacedonkey - am looking on ebay as I type. Thecattlewerelowryn ... no good unfortunately as I'm bare to the waist - there's a sort of 'twist' between my shoulder blades but I think too high for bra strap - certainly too high for Next's own brand strapless with see through strap although I see they do an ordinary bra with see through straps which might sit higher up - will check it up tomorrow. As for scissors and masking tape ... watch this space!!!!!

there's that new one by jml you can buy that online or woolworths. It's backless and strapless. It's made of a type of rubber and it just sticks on to your skin. You get about 100 wears out of it. It's £19.99.

Millie1 · 12/12/2004 22:34

York - that's exactly what I'm after - do you know where I could get it online?

TIA Grin

The jml website or if you have sky they have their own channel 659. Like I said woolys do jml stuff and homebase (of all places to sell bra's!) Let me know if you can't watch the channel cos I'll put it on and get the number for you to ring direct and order it.

YORK · 12/12/2004 22:56

The number is 0870 111 8888 or www.jmldirect.com. I don't know if there is an item number for it.

Millie

Might you have fed from the side that the C cup was too big for, explaining why too big? Might be worth trying the La Srnza one again?

sparklymieow · 13/12/2004 00:06

heres the \link{http://www.jmldirect.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1\one} from JML

Christmassbee · 13/12/2004 00:39

Boots & Woolies also sell them. I'ved used just the brazi ones and think they are great actually. You could always put a little bit of cotton or something over your nipple anyway as tbh it can hurt getting it off otherwise!

Millie1 · 13/12/2004 18:33

Thank you so much girls! Unfortunately JML don't deliver to N Ireland and our local Woolie's don't stock it so that one's out. I gave the Brazi ones a try this pm but wasn't comfortable with them. Believe it or not, good old M&S may have come up trumps - they've got a multi-way bra with clear straps (shoulder and back) which might be okay and a stick on bra too and are getting both in for me by 9am tomorrow morning! Finger's crossed.
