DD1 bought it from a charity shop and there are no instrucions.
Mattel are not helping, and I can't find out how to play it.

It seems to be similar to Cluedo.

Can anyone help us?

TIA

Yes - you play it just like Cluedo.

I haven't played since I was about 8 though, so I don't really remember what to do.

I thought we had it still but I've just looked in the games cupboard and can't see it. It's probably under dd's bed. If you want me to, I can dig it out tomorrow and find out the instructions for you but basically you put the spell, character and place cards into piles and shuffle them. Then blindly choose one of each and hide them under Fluffy. Then each player takes turn to roll the die and go to different rooms to guess a character, room (it has to be the one you're in) and a spell. You fill the little grids in to eliminate those than you see (so they therefore can't be under Fluffy) then make a final guess when you think you know what's in the envelope.

Thanks Janeite.
I'll go and get a copy of the cluedo rules from the mattel website, and with that and what you've told me I'll make it work

Great. Have fun!

PS - I think it was Snape, in the Great Hall with the Expeliarmus spell.
