Please help me find a hobby horse with a wooden pole for dd.
Cadeauxbury · 11/12/2004 20:38
We've been let down by the company we had one ordered through (since October!) so I need one asap. The one we went for originally was £10 and had a soft head and a wooden pole. I believe it had some kind of talky thing in it. I'm not keen on Unicorns and we can't go much over what we had budgetted for.
So, dear mumsnetters, your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to find one for my little dd.
I thank you.
Cadders

Saw an ad in Wilkinsons window today Cadders - think they were £12.99 IIRC. Woolies also do them - you could try online if not in the store?

The Pier have some with wooden poles, I think they were £9.99 but it was about three weeks ago that I saw them, so they might not have them anymore.
The Woolies ones have soft heads and soft poles, and they have a button on the ear to press for music and neighing. They're very annoying ...

A bit over budget, but not a unicorn, and kind of cute. Look \link{http://www.horsey-gifts.com/product.asp?productid=CU-11680\at this}.
