I finally, after much nagging got DH to buy a new pushchair for DD. Travelled to Two left Feet and bought a concord neo. Had to go back next day as they sold me a faulty one (harness broken). CHECKED this one, fine. Whilst using it have noticed the brake engages itself. Have contacted TLF, no reply. No one answers the phone either. Desperate to get another pushchair, has anyone ever managed to get their money back from them??!!
I don't think Ill be getting a mothers day present now....

Try contacting the manufactura direct.

They are normally really helpful, and should supply you with a replacement no problem.

If not if you paid by credit / debit card contact your bank and see if they can help.

HOpe you get something sorted.

Thanks Stary, its a german company. I'm rubbish at german! That's why I wanted TLF to sort it! Will try the bank though....DH will be happy

TLF don't come out well on customer service on MN threads...

Can you go back to the shop and make a nuisance of yourself until they give you a refund (probably not worth getting another one if two have been faulty). If their past performance according to MN is anything to go by they won't be at all helpful over the phone/by email.

moogbeam - Germans are generally pretty good at English though so might be worth a punt?

Oh God. New here. have just found rants against TLF!! want to hide in a corner. Have sent a letter by recorded mail as per instructions from consumer direct. Bran, I have the horrible feeling that I'd just get a credit note from TLF. I just want to go spend my money somewhere else now!! Any suggestions on how to achieve this is greatly appreciated
midnightexpress, will try that next week...

If the item is faulty you are entitled to a refund. The item should be fit for its purpose.Your item being a pushchair, you should be able to push this without the brake coming on,so you would be entitled to a refund,if its only afew weeks old.If its older, say 6mths the shop could say they will get it repaired. The refund should be how you paid.i.e.if you paid cash you should have a cash refund. If you paid by credit card they would refund your card.HTH
