I have bought one for DD's christmas, I haven't put it up or anything yet so don't really know what it is like. How old is your DD? Mine has just turned 4.
Have just been and had a loom on the box and it says for ages 3+.
Hope that helpsSmile

It's free standing, but looks like it will take a bit of assembeling as it comes in quite a small box.

fairydust · 11/12/2004 16:02

do you think it would go ok over a toddler bed like this \link{http://www.kiddicare.com/invt/stbsapjunnat\one}

Yes it would go over that bed. we have bought one for DD Christmas but obviously havent assembled it yet. as far as i can see its free standing on the four legs.The fabric is the kind that the play tents are made of (sorry don;t know the name)

AimsmumTheRedNoseReindeer · 11/12/2004 16:12

Yeah i think it would too. As it doesn't attach on to the bed at all. Its just a bit like sleeping under a tent as kristingle said!

thanks both

Let me know what they are like when you put them up please! DD would love one and keeps pointing them out to me. She wants a princess bedroom when we move, and this is one of the things she believes makes a Princess bedroom.

FD - DD only has a toddler bed at the moment too so will be interested to see how it fits.

Peckarollover · 11/12/2004 18:12

Hi

I got one for DDs birthday and also for my nieces birthday. They are fab! Very easy to assemble and really make the room look like a princesses bedroom. They arent totally free standing - you assemble the frame then each leg attaches to a leg of the bed.

Incidentally, I have got one on ebay (bought them at high price then found them cheaper)

Hulababy · 11/12/2004 18:14

Peckarollover - can they be free standing? Or are they adjustable? Just thinking about use over a toddler bed.

They can be freestranding - the frame is pretty robust you just then attach each leg in turn with the fasteners but it would be ok without just not quite as sturdy
