Hi we have just been given an almost brand new Icandy cherry which is fantastic - the only problem is it doesn't have the instructions - So wondered if anyone could email me any or anything? I just don't want to break it putting it together - Mostly wondered if anyone had any advice on attaching the seat/carry cot and which way to attach the car seat adaptors (as they are shaped!) - any help advice greatly appreciated!! I ahve emailed Icandy but not heard anything back yet!

thanks again

Sarah

I cant send piccies as I have just sold my carrycot, but I can try to point you in the right direction - it is a fab pram!

  1. Does the carrycot have the two adaptors attached to the bottom of it? Does the seat unit have the adaptors on it already?
  1. For the carrycot, on each adaptor there is a grey button - this should go on the outside of the frame, as you press these to release the carrycot from the frame (and then pull it up with the bar tound the hood.
  1. The seat unit should be ready to put on the frame - it should just click on - it doesnt matter what angle you put it on at. To remove it or rotate it round, you have to press the circular grey buttons that are near the bumper bar (probably sort of hidden inside the fabric) - then to remove it you pull it off holding the bumper bar.

I hope the above makes sense - I am led to believe that ICandy customer service is great - an alternative would be to find a local stockist that has them, and phone them!!

Hi thanks! I have emailed icandy to see if they can help at all!!

We have sussed the carrycot and the seat unit - the main problem is which way the carseat adaptors go on (as they are shaped and have seen online if they go on the wrong way you can't get the car seat off!!). Also the easiest way to put the frame up, took me 20 mins to work it out and how I did it cannot be the easiest way!!

thanks so much for your help!

Ah - the car seat adaptors - I would wait for proper instructions - I remember finding them very very difficult to fit in the car seat!!!!!

The frame should be really easy to fold and unfold.

From folded - unclip the safety catch on the side (the piece that keeps it folded). Then I just hold the handle and then sort of flick it open - a bit of a pull up on the handle, and it should all click into place!

TO fold it - you need to push in the small button on the handle (very small - built into the side of the larger button), then push the grey button under the handle. I then push down on the handle - which folds the frame so far, then use either of the black handles about half the way down the frame to completely fold it - it is really easy and I can do it in seconds!!

Hope this helps!!

Sarah - just had a look at my car seat adaptoors (dont have the car seat anymore) - if you look at the adaptor - there is what looks like a back and a front - the adaptoor fits into the car seat with the 'front' face facing out. It might be easier to put one of the adaptors on the frame - again the front face faces to the outside of the pram - when you are removing the car seat from the frame - you have to push the little button which is on the 'back' side of the adaptor - you should be able to see what I mean - it just moves very slightly.

It is not a very good description - I know, but it is the best I can do!!!!

BTW it can be a bit awkward to remove the car seat from the frame - I had to release one side and then do the otherside - I think it is because they are not the same make - the car seat and the frame.

I will look at see if I can find the instructions for the seat tomorrow - I am sure it had loads of piccies in it - if I find them, I will scan them in for you!

hi thats great! one last question - on the adaptors one side has like 3 'nobbles' on it - should these face me (and frames handle) or face the front wheels?

thanks again SO much for all your help!

As far as I can see, the three nobbles face the front wheels - when you fit the adaptors on the car seat, the nobbles will face the back of the seat.

i will get my frame out of the car tomorrow and just double check for you!
