Does anyone know where i can get a bed rail which will fit a cot bed? Bought a tomy one ages ago and dragged it out of loft after changed cot to a bed to find it doesn't fit! All ones I've seen seem to be for single beds. I've got mamas & papas eloise cot bed. Would be v. grateful if someone could help!

I've only ever seen them for single beds. Is the cot bed very high from the floor? i ask as my ds cotbed is about 5 inches so im thinking of puttin a folded up duvet or something incase he does roll out when i cnage it from a cot to a bed.

we had a cot bed from ikea, and the guard was made for it. i now use that guard on another bed... but it has to be the right sort of bedframe.

could you post a pic of the bed in question? might maker suggesting things easier.

Have you tried babies'r'us, mothercare and mamas and papas website only places i can think of thetop of my head. Youve more than likely tried them though.

You definitely can get them, but I've no idea where from, as we've borrowed one from mustrunmore!

pls describe the bed if you cant link to a pic - slats or a baord underneath? do the sides come up around the mattress or does the mattress sit on top (iyswim)?

i may have something for you, but dont know without that info.

Bed does have slats underneath but mattress is set inside wooden boards that come up sides. The smallest rail I've seen on all above sites is a portable Lindam one for minimum bed width of 83cm and mine is 70 cm. It seems to be width of mattress size thats causing probs. I have folded duvet at side of bed (about 9in off floor) but was enough to set off tears when fell out 10 mins ago though luckily thats 1st time in 3 nights!

Have you looked at BabyDan, they do a guard that is suitable for either a slatted base or divan bed, we use it on our cotbed and it works really well.

Ours came from The Great Little Trading Company and is called "Flip-Down Soft Bed Rail".

It might not work with your wooden sides but it could be worth a look.

My dd has a mamas and papas rita cot bed and I have got her a babydan flip down one in pink. Was £27.99 delivered. Found it on a google search. It fits nicely.

a bruin bed guard fits the one i have got is navy with a green trim it has got short plastic arms instead of the tomy ones where the bar goes up the other side of the mattress

I'll have a look. Was poorly and throwing himself around last night so decided to leave him asleep on floor instead till he rolled under bed completely and got stuck. Bless!
