Thanks so much to everyone for all your really kind replies & I've had a look at those you suggested...

I'm gong to sound really picky now because I really need a swivel wheel (I'm used to using a Jane with one) and think it's going to be hard work without.

Also it's for an older littly who's nearly 18 months. We're adopting and the whole idea of the reversible seat is for bonding/attachment to start off with.

I'd be so grateful if anyone has any more ideas - even if it's something older I can look second hand

There are a couple in Mothercare but they are "travel systems" with a baby carseat (which would be useless to you with an 18m old...)

Loola? Not 3 wheeler but you can lock the front wheels.
Might be bit heavy but there is a new one out now whihc is lighter, the Loola Up.
Might be worth a look?
