Hi, I have a buyer who has received their parcel damaged. It is a glass mirror photo frame and three out of 4 corners have been damaged.
She has sent photos of this which I can see but she has selected the reason as item not as significantly described.
Now I've read that the seller can get compensation for items damaged in transit.
Should she have selected item damaged when reporting an issue to vinted. I have asked her and she said it wasn't an option.
I'm happy to give a refund as the item is clearly damaged but feel like I should also get compensation as I wrapped the item in bubble wrap and put fragile on the parcel.
I only sold it for £3, is there anything I can do or should I just process the refund as it is? Just doesn't feel right agreeing to something which has been selected as not as described when in fact the parcel is damaged.
I just don't want any negative feedback for something that isn't my fault.
