Babybjorn- Is the active version worth the extra money?

I had the standard version with dd and managed to carry her in it for about 8-9 months but I did find it a bit of a strain on the shoulders. Is there any real difference in the active version? I still have dds but I wonder if I should sell it and get the active one for this baby?

Yes! At least for me it was. It's got a solid padded bit that runs down the length of your back, giving it a lot more support. And loads of padding. I loved mine.

I tried a mates active version and it was soooo much more comfortable as some of the weight goes on your hips.

IME it is much better and more comfy,
WHy not try ebay or the wanted section on here if you dont want to pay out for a new one?

Yes, definitely worth the extra. I used mine a LOT.

Well it's much better than the basic one (had both) but still pretty rubbish for the baby's posture/spine/positioning and not that comfortable for the carrier either.

Something like a Wilkinet or a Close Baby Carrier or a Kari-me are all infinitely more comfortable for baby and carrier and I think they're all cheaper too

yes, much better
