I am looking to get furnitures from those places. However some reviews are quite bad, late delivery, poor customer service.
have you ordered from any of those places and what is your view?

Hi
don’t know if you have found anything but I would avoid sofas from Daals like I would avoid the plague . Unfortunately we had the sofa for less than a day but it is very uncomfortable so we have decided to email them . Policy requires the returned item to be returned in a condition that they can sell back at full price , which is a reasonable request if you are not planning to take the sofa out of the box or open the items that are vacuum packed to try the sofa . We tried asking for middle grounds (partial refund) but no joy .
haven’t tried any other furniture from them. Was planing to but now since I feel I got scammed won’t even consider it

Thanks! I did not have enough information to reassure me about those brands so went to good old DFS for sofa and Laura James for bedroom furniture…

Not yet but for sofa I am thinking DFS as well. My mistake to trust Daals.
I have some chest of drawers from ikea , just plane and simple in the kids room. Love them cause drawers are deep so when they “look” for something and the drawers are rearranged it can still be closed. Dining tables from Oakland are not bad as well. Hope this helps a little 🙂

Just hope nothing goes wrong is all I say. Shocking customer service. Purchased a garden settee and accompanying cover. After only a few months the cover has started to fray at the seams and leak. According to Sid at daals this is "natural wear and tear". How in anybody's world a waterproof cover leaking after a few months of use is wear and tear is beyond me. So just hope and pray that you don't have issues as the customer service here is sadly lacking.

Thanks! I said above I decided to not go for daals or dusk and went with Laura James for bedroom furniture.
that being said i did order some throws/pillows from dusk which was absolutely fine. Maybe to not be trusted with big furniture though

We have had some truly terrible experiences with Daals, they're essentially scammers. We had aggressive emails, gas lighting and refusal to give us a refund for broken and very expensive products.

They whole thing is a charade, try and leave a bad review on their website and you'll see what I mean.

Slw88 · 10/10/2024 17:02

Absolutely disgusted that Daals sent me a faulty sofa. Then, when I contacted them, with copious photos, said it was 'a change of mind' and wouldn't even attempt to rectify the issue. Gaslighting at its finest! Pregnant and ill in hospital I had to try and deal with this atrocious company and their cheaply made, shoddy products. I've now contacted Trading Standards and I've just made an appointment with my Solicitor for legal advice. Daals, you are a disgrace!
Oh! And 'Leanne' don't bother sending a copy and paste response that you can't find my order number as this would be a blatant lie, along with your blatantly sub-standard products, customer service and fraudulent positive reviews! I emailed Daals CEO (see below) zero response. Daals, you are in breach of UK Trading Standards Law.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

> Gaslighting at its finest

Slw88 said it best. I feel like I'm being gaslighted. I was sent the wrong item.

They asked for something like 8 photos of the wrong item.
I shipped the item back.
I confirmed delivery via the tracking number.
They have told me that they are waiting for the item to be processed before shipping a replacement.
Then, they told me they were still waiting on the item.
Now there is an internal issue and they cannot guarantee the correct item will be shipped.

Meanwhile, my card has been charged. I have had to call my credit card company.

Daals is cheap furniture at not so cheap prices and appalling service. Avoid like the plague

Trishla · 18/09/2025 09:56

Hi!

This is just to let you know, that when you are in service industry and you mistreat your customer ,they will fight.

Elhamchenari · 09/10/2025 11:37

Daals uk This the worst company i ever have to deal with it,
I receive a broken headboard for the bed i ordered 10 days ago and still after many days and phone call no one knows when i'm going to receive replacement for broken headboard and they told me if when we come and your not home we going to change you for delivery so i guess i have to lose one day work wages as well on top of wasting my time,
I made a mistake by not reading the reviews because they have so many one stars customers review
So please stop buying from this crook company because they simply don't care
Be smart and read a reviews before shopping

Daals are an absolute scam of sub standard products and shady dealings - they will make it impossible to get a refund and they will drag the process out

Dotcomdolly · 18/10/2025 09:51

Their customer service is shocking and their furniture is very overpriced so I would give it a miss

Wrighty22 · 01/12/2025 15:37

I honestly can’t believe how terrible Daals’ customer service is. I ordered three large furniture items on pre-order, relying only on the pictures, and what arrived was nowhere near the colour shown, far lighter and completely different. When I asked them to collect the items for return, they refused and said I had to handle it myself. No courier will touch anything over 30kg, so we had no choice but to drive everything all the way to Coventry.
Now I’m chasing their customer service just to find out if the return has even been accepted. I’ve followed every instruction they gave, and still nothing. And the worst part? There’s no way to actually call them. Absolutely unacceptable.

My review.....

near miss!
A near miss!

Daals had the potential to be great but fell down in the end. It's been an ongoing saga of emails, poor communications and a complete time soak.

13th of Jan - Ordered a number of bedroom items from the site. Quality was what I expected for the money, average fake veneer on MDF, fairly priced for what it is but don't expect a G plan that will last you for decades.

Sadly damaged drawer fronts and a damaged chair. The chair had no external damage to the the packaging it had been wrapped and packaged with damage from the factory.

Things happen, lets just sort it was my take. Kudos to Daals they were responsive and tried to give me a very low discount that basically wasn't worth considering so they sorted a replacement for the drawer.

This is where the BS started. Poor comms, deliveries turning up unnanounced, pot luck if we were in or not. I specifically requested deliveries not be made during a certain week, guess what delivery attempted and the chair not sent back or replacement given.

It's now the 16th of March, yep you read that right we are 2 months into this BS. I still have no chair, same back and forth BS emails, no refund and a level of practiced disinterest that suggests this is a well polished response to complaints.

More importantly for Daals is they opted not to honour my distant selling rights, fortunately in writing, so next stop is trading standards.

It just sucks that you have to waste your time with this kind of stuff. I spent circa 3K and have another 3k to spend on my sons bedroom which will be being spent elsewhere. for that I have had weeks of p*ssing about. It's such a shame as being fair to Daals the intial response was great, they almost made it.

Assuming your stuff arrives without damage I'm sure these guys are fine but if you are spending a chunk of cash I would be wary, the breach of distance selling rights was a big red flag!

Speaking to different faces every time has been annoying, poor comms annoying, the fact they chose to lose a customer over a £150 chair is.... annoying.

My now needing to become a Caron letting Reddit, Trustpilot, and everyone else know it's not all gravy despite the positive reviews.... (funny many of them seem to be written with a similar tone? Odd that!) is 'annoying'

One to avoid is the end outcome which is, guess what.... annoying!

Mark Hurren gave daals 2 stars. Check out the full review...
