Rainbows uniforms, what do they actually need and sizing help

DD2 is starting Rainbows tonight, and I am pretty confident she will like it. i am planning on getting her uniform in a couple of weeks. ust looking at the girl guiding site for uniforms. They dont have age charts for their clothes, just measurements, which is good but i cant find my tape measure. she is the size of most 7-8year olds.

Also what does she need? DD1 likes her brownies hooded jacket, so am thinking o the rainbows version instead of the tabard, what do you think? what do most girls wear?

Do you know w hat the rest of the pack wear? My DD wore the jogging bottoms and polo shirt for Rainbows (and cap), we didn't bother with the tabard

My dd's pack only wear the tabbards
She is an honorary brownie too thouh so gets to wear full regalia then!
I would also order as large as you can as the sizes are skimped, my dd was 6 in november and can only squeeze into her tabard and she is fairly slim.

its a brand new pack. i am pretty releived as all the other grou-ps are completely full and looking likely she wouldnt get a space.

and its just before dd1 brownie session at the same place lol.

Dd2 wore, jogging bottoms (which shrink so beware) and a 'shirt. Most girls had the zip up jacket to.

Tbh if at all possible, I would find a shop that sells them and try them on.

i think John Lewis in town sells the stuff so may have to pop there at the weekend with her.

She is just so darned tall and slim for her age, so i guess trying on is better. [remembers the age 8 jeans witrh the waist pulled in that dd2 wore last week]

how did i wind up a tall girl? i'm a shorty, mind you peter is v tall lol.
