I know that the Quinny Zapp is an option but would ideally like something that can recline. Can anybody recommend or help prevent me from making a horrible mistake. I supidly bought a maclaren xlr which I loved but was too big for my husbands car bootso I had to sell it.

came on to tell you about quinny zapp, and then read it lol they do look comfy in it while asleep,ds2 is 1 on wednesday and he looks fine in it.

How old is your child? BabyDragon has napped fine in the Zapp from about 14 months.

There is a Zapp-alike which does recline I think but I can't remember what is is!.

Maclaren Volo? That's the smallest MacLaren. I love it for my life (always jumping on and off buses combined with toddler who needs a buggy on hand for long distances).

Volo doesn't recline either does it?

sotheran · 18/02/2008 12:20

She's going to be six months next month. I won't right the Zapp off then :-)
I'll check the Volo out too - really loved the XLR and was so sad to see it go.

i love my zapp too,my dd is nearly2 and she does nap in it,but i wouldnt use it if she slept in it for long periods as she doesnt look all that comfy,
the petite star zia is similar and reclines,
also the mamas and papas luna and britax verve recline and fold pretty small,

The volo does not recline. It is a wonderful pushchair - mine has been through two children already and will also do for this next baby. However, I would not use it for a baby to sleep in. They look extremely uncomfortable and hunched over in them when they do. My ds2 slept in it a lot when he was much older thouh (like 2 years old) and was fine.
