very thin hair

My hair has always been fine but I've noticed that the problem is gradually getting worse. Age? Pregnancies? Medication? Don't know. Am seriously considering asking for contributions from family (instead of Xmas pressies) towards having hair extensions put in. Does anyone know anything about hair extensions? Are they worth the money? Do they look natural? Are there any alternatives? How about hair products? Thanks for any advice!

First get yourself checked over for hormone profile and thyroid etc. Lots of medical causes of thinning hair. Hair extensions are temporary, very expensive, can look very good but ironically look more natural if your hair is thick to start with! As well as seeing your GP for blood tests, try taking a good multivit with iron and eating more protein.
