Bugaboo - just the pushchair bit...confused !!!

I am a bit of a pushchair-a-holic. Bought Phil and Teds for DS1 & DS2 - but DS1 now too big and not interested.
So want to buy just a single pushchair for little one (5 mnths) - really like the Bugaboo's - but not sure whch is which, which are better or what the differences are. Basically he doesn't need the pram bit now - so would just need the chair bit.
Can you buy just that - what would anyone recommend ????? And how long would he be in it - are they heavy, easy to dismantle ???

Don't think you can buy the Bugaboo Chameleon without the carry cot bit but they do a new pushchair which should be out now - not sure what its called but it will be on their website and possibly Mothercares as well

You have to buy the whole shebang, but the carrycot fabric and the pushchair fabric fit on the same metal hoop thing, so you wouldn't have to store a big carrycot.

They are a bit heavy and hard to dismantle (you have to take the seat right off the chassis to fold it).

There are two models, the Gecko, which is pretty basic (no adjustable handlebar etc) and the all-singing all dancing Cameleon.

Personally I don't think it's worth it if you won't use the carrycot - just use the P7T as a single.

New one is bugaboo bee, its on mothercares website... i've just got one and LOVE it!!

Bugaboo Bee is the new one and it is out. Haven't seen any reviews but I do know it fold in one piece, which is better than Chameleon, Frog or Gekko.

You can't buy one of the latter three without the cot as it comes flat pack and you make it up yourself.

Sassie's thinking of the Bee

and it doesnt have a carry cot - is just the seat bit (plus you can use with car seat if needed)
Its a lot cheaper than the big bugaboos as well

Hi the new one is the bugaboo bee which is reversible, no carrycot and folds in one piece.
The chameleon/frog/gecko you could probably get on eaby without the carrycot.
I have a frog and my 22 week dd3 loves the seat as she can see around her and face me.
It was tricky to fold at first but you soon get the knack and it becomes 2nd nature
