I was looking for the mumsnetter who contacted me the Mamas & Papas Luna and how unsafe they are!!!
I was contacted by BBC watchdog and they wondered if you would speak to them too?

I'll speak to them about how awful the Luna is, as well as their customer service.
We ended up binning ours after three uses.

Hey! That would be good, the lady I spoke to at BBC watchdog has said for me not to give out her tel number but is there an email address I can give her for you?
Her name is Maria Atherton

Hi. I've just bought this push chair. What problems have people encountered?

itsahardknocklife · 14/02/2008 23:50

my email address is [email protected]

Hi tootsweet, if you have the newer version with the adjustable footrest then I believe they have ironed out some of the problems. Mamas and Papas are quite well known for refusing refunds and exchanges.

tootsweet · 17/02/2008 12:46

Thanks for that. I'll check that now. I agree with the comment about customer service. A friend of mine has had terrible service recently regarding a pliko pushchair.

nikki8609 · 17/02/2008 20:40

i had the luna and used it once and the clip broke that holds the strap on. found out from mamas and papas would have to pay £80 for a whole new seat unit. worst buggy i have ever tried

JellyNump · 19/02/2008 21:04

I have the Luna without the adjusting leg rest. I found that while I was pushing my dd down the kerb to cross the road the front wheels kept getting stuck in gutters and meant the buggy was tipping forward into the road! I complained but they were awful and their response was basically 'tough luck'.
If anyone has any comments they'd like me to pass on please email me at [email protected] and i'll pass it on to the BBC lady

has anyone else had the problem that when you put the front wheels down to go down a kerb or steps they sometimes get stuck? i find at the park grass and mud gets stuck in the wheels and i have to pull backwards and then forwards to get it out. does anyone else have to do this? does anyone else think the wheels are more rattly than that of a normal lightweight pushchair aswell? saying that it's nice and light to push and easy to steer with one hand.
