we've got an HP Ipaq that we don't use anymore, in fact it was rarely used. Have been meaning to put in on ebay for ages. If you'd like me to find a link etc for it let me know.

BrummieOnTheRun · 12/02/2008 20:21

I know you don't want a phone, but my Orange SPV M600 does a lot of that.

It runs Windows Mobile, so it synchs with your desktop Outlook meaning all your contacts, calendar and e-mail are available on your PDA/phone.

It has windows and excel and a notes function. Like the old Palms it has a form of graffitti so you can handwrite.

I love the mobile internet option too: Google Maps! Godsend

BrummieOnTheRun · 12/02/2008 20:22

(02 also do a Windows Mobile range)

I have a phone MDA compact III and it does all of this plus has a route map for walking and driving really lear screen and handwriting reognition software and runs very well with the PC as it has a windows based OS

DiscoDizzy · 13/02/2008 10:26

Ours is the same as this one. How much were you looking to spend? Like I said it was used for a very short while and then DH couldn't be arsed kept forgetting to use it. Its sat in the box ever since.

pollywobbledoodle · 13/02/2008 22:18

hi discodizzy, i had no real idea what i would get for it but £100 is the most i can spend at the moment incl postage.

i fancy having a look somewhere like pc world to see how ipaq/palm pdas feel to use. will do that this weekend.

do you think that that is a reasonable offer? if so can i get back to you after the weekend?

£100 incl P&P is fine. I agree that going to have a look at PC World etc to see how they work is a good idea. If you could let me know either way after the weekend, that would be great. DH says it can run satellite navigation software with a separate satellite receiver.

pollywobbledoodle · 14/02/2008 10:06

thanks. will let you know after w/e

hi discodizzy,
just to let you know i went out with a friend last night and she gave me her old pda for the price of a curry..it has fewer bells and whistles than yours but it does all i need it to for now. Thanks for your time
